A Call to Courageous and Confident Engagement with Science: Introducing the Lambeth Call on faith and science and the work of the Anglican Communion Science Commission

The world faces multiple dangers and opportunities in the coming years from climate change and biodiversity loss; disease and poverty; war and the use of new technologies. We will need to become courageous and confident in our engagement with science to be God's Church for God's world at this time. The seminar will introduce worked examples of areas where science and faith both have a vital contribution to make (vaccinations; biodiversity; new technology) and explore the Lambeth Call on Faith and Science and the work of the new Anglican Communion Science Commission. The seminar is one of two which will focus on the Lambeth Call on Science and Faith and the work of the Anglican Communion Science Commission.
